CADS Program at Horseshoe Resort

Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing – CADS

8 week program starting Saturday January 5th - 10:15 am to 11:45 am or 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm

$120 including lift tickets and rentals - $35 CADS membership fee is not included.

The CADS program is dedicated to the promotion of skiing for persons with disabilities. Their focus is to help skiers with a variety of physical or intellectual disabilities learn to ski with confidence. Their instructors are certified and participate in continuing education to keep pace with advancements in teaching methods and equipment. For more information about these lessons visit www.disabledskiingontario.com/Horseshoe.html. Please note that for the 2012-2013 season CADS have requested that all students be placed on waiting list and that priority will be given to returning students first. CADS has requested a waiting list to insure that students can be paired up with right volunteers and equipment, prior to payments being processed. 

 

Information Required for CADS Program Wait List

1) Name of student

2) Contact Phone Number or Name of parent/guardian and cell phone number if student is a minor

3) Email address required for CADS to be able to contact regarding program updates and information

4) Requested lessons time – Either 10:15 am or 1:30 pm

5) Disability

6) Student ability – Beg, Nov, Int or Advanced

7) Age of student at the time the lessons commence

*Participants are kept in order as they sign up. Payment is not accepted until we can confirm with CADS that they can facilitate.
