Horseshoe Resort offers an innovative and exciting racing program for kids and adults of all ages. Learn from a group of dedicated coaches who focus on teaching with a positive and encouraging attitude, promoting success, performance and results. This allows participants to excel in a variety of environments, which are designed to both inspire and challenge each individual.
Nancy Greene League – Ages 7 to 10 years
8 week program – Saturday and Sundays – starting Saturday January 7th - 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm (4 hours of lessons daily)Nancy Greene League is a traveling race team for athletes aged 7 to 10 years. This is the entry level league where the emphasis is on participating rather than competing. No race experience is required. Racers compete as a team, not as individuals to help promote the focus of fun and improving overall skiing skills. There 3 away races and 1 home race. Athletes compete in a variety of disciplines including giant slalom (GS), slalom (SL) and stubbies. Helmets (closed eared) are mandatory.
Cost: $560* prior to October 1st and $630* Oct 2nd onwards includes Coaching and AOA fees.
*For anyone new to the Horseshoe Racing Program and/or returning racers requiring a new team jacket, please add $145 to the program fees for the Spyder Team Jacket. Prices do not include lift tickets. Time trails TBD.
K1 League – Ages 11 and 12 years
8 week program – Saturday and Sundays – starting Saturday January 7th - 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm (4 hours of lessons daily) K1 League is a traveling race team for athletes aged 11 and 12 years. This is a program for those graduating from Nancy Greene and/or for those wanting to complete in a team format but looking for the next challenge in racing. Racers compete as a team as well as individuals. There 3 away races and 1 home race, as well as semi-finals and the potential to attend finals. Athletes compete in both GS and slalom disciplines. Helmets (closed eared) are mandatory. Time trails TBD.

K2 League – Ages 13 and 14 years
8 week program – Saturday and Sundays – starting Saturday January 7th - 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm (4 hours of lessons daily) K2 League is a traveling race team for athletes aged 13 and 14 years. This is a program for those looking to race, but cannot give the extensive training commitment required in the K2 Individual Series. There is the opportunity to qualify for individual races, based on results throughout the season. New athletes with no race experience can join at this level. Racers still compete as a team as well as individuals. There 3 away races and 1 home race, as well as semi-finals and the potential to attend finals. Athletes compete in both GS and slalom disciplines. Helmets (closed eared) are mandatory. Time trails TBD.

This is a program for dedicated athletes that are looking to race and compete at a high level, but prefer the team atmosphere. Racers compete as a team as well as individuals. There 3 away races and 1 home race, as well as semi-finals and the potential to attend finals. Athletes compete in both GS and slalom disciplines. Helmets are mandatory. Time trails TBD.
