Competitive Freestyle Snowboard Team – NEW PROGRAM 2011/2012

The Competitive Freestyle Snowboard Team is a new program tailored toward experienced riders who are looking to ride with professional coaches. This is an 9-week competitive program (includes Saturday and Sundays) that commences on Saturday January 7th, 2012 and runs through until Sunday February 26th, 2012. Pro-rider Cassandra Ironside will be heading up this new program that will focus on the Terrain Park, and Slopestyle.

The training session will begin at 10:00 AM and run until 3:00 PM. Please note that lunch is not included in the program and transportation to and from the resort is not provided. Lunch time is scheduled from 12PM – 1PM and it is not supervised.

Program begins Saturday January 7th, 2012 and ends Sunday March 4th, 2012.

*Helmets are mandatory.

Freestyle Competitive Program – Ages 8 - 17

This is an 9-week competitive program (includes Saturdays and Sundays) that commences on Saturday January 7th, 2011 and runs through until Sunday February 26th, 2012. The focus of the program will include Slopestyle, Bumps and Jumps and the Terrain Park. As it is a competitive program, previous freestyle experience is required. Additional training opportunities will be available with Icarus Shreducation 4E.

This program does not include lift tickets, competition fees, CFSA membership fees or additional travel costs for coaching. Visit www.freestyleski.com for more information about the CFSA.

Classes are 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm (4 hours of lessons daily). Program includes a Terrain Park Pass.

Freestyle Training Program – Ages 7 – 17

This is a 8-week non-competitive program (includes Saturdays and Sundays) that commences on Saturday January 7th, 2011 and runs through until Sunday February 26th, 2012. It a non-competitive program that focuses on introducing Slopestyle, Bumps and Jumps and the Terrain Park, while improving overall ski technique. No freestyle experience is required, but all students must be able to comfortably ski intermediate and advanced terrain.

Freestyle Training Program, Saturday ONLY Option – Ages 7 – 17

If you are an athlete who is looking to learn about Freestyle skiing, but not willing to make a full time commitment to a 2-day program, this is the program for you. This is a non-competitive 8-week program (Saturdays only) that commences on Saturday January 7th, 2012 and runs through until Saturday February 25th, 2012. This program focuses on introducing Slopestyle, Bumps and Jumps and the Terrain Park, while improving overall ski technique. No freestyle experience is required, but all students must be able to comfortably ski intermediate and advanced terrain.
