To help you make the most of your Shizen Spa time at Horseshoe Resort here’s a quick list of spa policies and helpful info. Get ready to relax…
Arrival
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your appointment to prepare for your spa experience and avoid any disappointment. Unfortunately, scheduled treatment time may not be able to be extended for late arrivals.
Bookings
A credit card number is required to secure your reservation. Your card will not be charged until your service. No shows and cancellations made within 24-hours before the scheduled time will be charged 100% for the reservation.
Comfort
At Shizen Spa your privacy and relaxation is key. Feel free to ask any questions or make requests to ensure your own comfort level. For massages, guests can de-robe to their comfort level. During all services, guests are fully draped with the exception of the area that is being worked on. Please note, Shizen Spa cannot be responsible for lost items or valuables so please leave them at home or in your guest room.
Gift Certificates
Available for any amount, Shizen Spa gift certificates make the perfect
present and are redeemable for Shizen Spa services and retail products. You can purchase them by
phone, at any Shizen Spa location or by contacting us by email: spahvr@horseshoeresort.com
Payment
Prices do not include applicable resort amenity fee, taxes or gratuities. Insurance receipts are provided if RMT services are requested at time of booking. Gratuities for your service provider may be left at your discretion. If you have any questions, please ask the spa concierge when you book your appointment.
Products
All of our trained staff will recommend products for you to use at home to extend your spa experience and results. We use only the best skin and bodycare lines available, including Comfort Zone and Guinot, and are always happy to help with any questions you may have.
Quiet Zone
We strive to keep our spa tranquil and make sure all our guests are at ease. Please help by keeping your cell phone set on vibrate and speaking quietly.
Reminders
Guests receiving body treatments must avoid shaving at least 24 hours prior to receiving this service. Men receiving facials must not shave at least 6-8 hours prior to their service. For guests receiving pedicures, we recommend bringing a pair of opened-toed sandals to wear after your service to ensure your polish does not chip or smudge.
‘Tweens & Teens
All Shizen Spa guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult to receive massage, facial and nail care.
