Segway Adventures
Experience the serene beauty of Horseshoe Valley with the unparalleled thrill of riding a Segway, Canada's 1st off-road Segway Tour!! Your experience will begin with a 10 - 15 minute introduction and training on the Segway x 2 before you head off to the guided tour through Horseshoe Valley. The rugged and tough Segway x 2 has been specially designed for off-road travel and is perfect for this experience.
No Previous Segway Riding Experience is Required
The minimum age for this experience is 12 years old. Minimum weight is 90 lbs and maximum weight is 260 lbs. Participants less than 18 years of age will require the signature of a parent or guardian. Participants will be required to sign a liability release form.
The Weather
This experience is not weather dependent. However severe conditions may prevent the experience from taking place, in which case a new date will be offered. Please phone the office on the day of your tour if in doubt.
Number of People
This experience is for one person per machine. There will be other riders sharing this experience with you up to a maximum of four riders, with a minimum of two riders needed for the tour to run.
What to Wear
Wear whatever you are comfortable in for the time of year paired with flat soled comfortable shoes. Also bring bug repellent and/or sunscreen if you feel you may require them.
About the Tours
The tours are approximately 1 hour in length which includes a short training session to ensure that you feel comfortable prior to the forest exploration.
The cost is $69 plus GST per person.
We are open daily (until October 17th for 2010 season).
Reservations are a must to avoid disappointment! We strongly recommend booking at least 3 days or more in advance as space fills up quickly.
