Horseback Riding

We are pleased to announce that we now offer Horseback Riding at Horseshoe!
Come experience a relaxing and scenic guided walk and trot through the beautiful forest - hailed by the Ontario Trails Council as “one of the loveliest forests in Southern Ontario” - on horseback. Enjoy the serenity and beautiful sights this ride will offer. If you've never been on a horse before don't worry, our trained staff will be able to guide you on handling and will be near you at all times.Horseback rides are 1 hour in length and cost $60 plus taxes, per person. A group rate of $55 per person will be given to those with 6 or more people in their group.
Pony rides for the young ones will also be available at a cost of $10 a ride.

- Each tour can accommodate up to 8 riders.
- Operations are dependent on weather conditions for the safety of our guests and the horses, please call ahead to book your ride - 705-835-2790 ext. 1822.
- Tickets can be purchased at the Tack Shop, note that there is a waiver form so for those under 18 years old, a legal guardian must sign for them.
- Riders must be at least 8 years of age and less then 250 lbs to ride.
- Horseback riding is provided by a third party partner of the resort and headquartered out of our Nordic Ski centre.
