Competitive Programs

Horseshoe Resort offers innovative and exciting junior and adult competitive programs for all ages and abilities. Learn from a group of dedicated coaches who focus on teaching with a positive attitude to achieve performance from all participants. Our coaches' vision is to promote fun, experience and excellence in ski racing for all participants, to both inspire and develop lifelong skiers.

Development Squad

Development Squad Programs are designed to introduce young athletes into the sport of ski racing. While learning overall ski technique and skills, participants will have fun and develop in a team atmosphere. No racing experience required.

Division Alpine Ski Racing

Horseshoe Resort offers a variety of travelling competitive alpine race programs including U10, U12, U14, U16, U18 and U21. Athletes compete in a team format and as individuals. These programs were formerly known as Nancy Greene Snowstars, Nancy Greene, K1, K2, J1, J2 and Individual.

Camps and Holiday Programs

Camps are encouraged for any athlete looking to participate in the Development Squad or Division Alpine Ski Racing at Horseshoe Resort. Athletes of all ages and ability are welcome to participate in Christmas Camp, New Year Camp and March Break Camp.

Freestyle Ski and Snowboard

Horseshoe Resort offers children the opportunity to participate in Freestyle Ski or Freestyle Snowboard programs in a competitive or non-competitive environment. If you are interested in grinding rails, booting off kickers and training with professional freestyle riders, this is the program for you.

Race Training

Weekly race training sessions are offered to anyone on Team Horseshoe looking to further develop and refine their racing skills. Thursday and Friday Race Training sessions offer hours of training in gates, race simulation and top level coaching.
